Are you ready to experience more of the Assassin’s Creed? The 2nd Assassins Creed title introduces the Desmond Miles story.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin’s Creed II was released in November 2009 for the platforms Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game was then made available for Windows in March 2010 then later became available for OS X in October 2011.

This series is the first entry of the Ezio trilogy. In this game, Desmond Miles was saved from confinement by Lucy Stillman and once again used his memory to relive the life of his ancestor living in Italy, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Using the machine Animus 2.0, which is an upgraded version of Animus that contains a database with the information of the different characters, landmarks, glyphs, and services that the player encountered, Desmond was able to successfully relive the life of his ancestor Ezio set in the Renaissance period in the 15th century.

The game introduces the players to the tragic story of Ezio and the reason why he became an assassin. When Ezio was still young, he had witnessed the death of his father and brothers through hanging because of a false accusation for treason. The goal of Ezio in this game is to find the people who arranged the death of the people he loved so dearly. The more you play, the more you get the chills of uncovering the people behind the murder of Ezio’s father and brothers.

The developers have also made this game an open world where players can freely roam around the different regions namely Florence, Venice, Rome, Forli, the Tuscan countryside, San Gimignano, and Monteriggioni . This is the first Assassins Creed game where an eagle-eye vision is introduced, which allows a third-person view of the player. This can be used to identify landmarks and track the player’s movement.

In Assassins Creed 2, the developers present the player with a new set of skills such as swimming, climbing towers, using gondolas, and even riding horses. These skills can be used in every assassination and sideline task. With regard to weaponry, players can now purchase weapons such as daggers, swords, and maces with a new payment system introduced in the game. This system allows the player to earn in-game currency with 20 minutes intervals between each payment.

There is also another set of characters introduced in this game which includes Leonardo da Vinci, the person aiding you in creating new weapons or upgrading it.  One more thing to know about this game that will surely excite you is the fact that disarming an opponent can now be possible when it comes to combat. Additionally, different methods of hiding can now be used to hide from city guards such as diving underwater and covering yourself to blend in with any group of individuals. Furthermore, Ezio can also now ambush individuals and even make people fall off buildings. In terms of health, the developers made it so that the player can recover only from the minor injuries. To do this, the player can visit street-side doctors or use medicines found on bodies or purchased.

In Assassins Creed 2, you can also hire some non-player characters such as courtesans, thieves, or even mercenaries that can distract the city guards from following you. Aside from that, you can also use the flying machine of da Vinci for one mission. Because of the well thought-out and researched setting of the game, the developers have done an amazing job in terms of realism. The game looks realistic and detailed, giving the player the feeling of a true assassin, free to roam cities and fulfil your fatal missions.

This Assassins Creed sequel would be loved by people who want to explore the Assassins Creed world in an open-world environment.
