A fight is about who’s left standing. Nothing more!
Keep those powerful words from the developers in mind, as you plow through your opponents in this action-packed martial arts game. You’ll need to throw strong right hooks, tornado kicks and energy blasts, which will decide your fate in each fight.
The story mode begins with a war raging on between the Mishima Zaibatsu clan and the G Corporation. G Corporation has the advantage in battle, after Zaibatsu’s leader, Jin Kazama goes missing. Heihachi Mishima tries to regain control of the situation, by fighting Kazuya Mishima, who abandoned the Mishima clan and joined the G Corporation. The result of this blood-thirsty feud lies in your hands.
You’ll also have different characters to choose from. Each of the characters has their own storyline, although the Mishima story forms the major part of the game’s plot. You can implement various techniques, skill sets and special moves that belong to each character.
The game features unique special moves, which the player can spam to gain the upperhand over his/her opponent. In Tekken 7, there is no proper way to learn the special moves, as it was in the prequels. You can just hit as normal and the character will assume special moves. With this feature, the fights get better with short durations but maximum entertainment and fast-paced action. The feeling you get from doing your first big special move, from mastering a chain throw or blocking a 10-hit combo, is unique to the game. The best part of this feature is that the matches have become unpredictable. The rounds go back and forth, where you might win the first round but suffer a crushing defeat in the next, as you’re not sure how exactly you can complete your special combo moves.
Tekken 7 features less technical controls than the game’s predecessors. You won’t have any complex combo buttons to push in order to perform special skills. It’s therefore more fun for new users and supports cinematic fights for experienced players.
The rage system is another new feature added to this game. As you reach the end of your health bar, nearing your death, your character is provided with a buff. You can use this buff to implement one-shot attacks that create immense damage to your opponents. This feature adds more to the tension, especially when both players are low on health. The fight could end either way depending on the buffs you receive and how quick the player is in reacting to the buffs.
If you are looking for a speedy thrill ride with action packed power moves, then Tekken 7 is your best option!
